Jessica has been married for a little over a year and has a 6-month-old son. She is currently learning how to navigate life with an infant, but is loving every minute of it and enjoying viewing the world through the eyes of a child. She also has 2 dogs and 2 cats that keep her very busy. In her free time, Jessica enjoys going for walks, catching up on her favorite shows, and taking her son to visit family.
Jessica is very passionate in her work as a therapist. She strives to be genuine in all therapeutic relationships and meet the client where they are at. She understands that counseling can be scary and she aims to help her clients feel as comfortable and as safe as possible. Jessica loves to work with adolescents and young adults to help them find themselves during this transitional time of life. She also finds joy in working with kids, helping them to better understand their emotions. Working with adults, especially parents, has been fun for Jessica as well, as she is understanding more through her own experiences how difficult this role can be. Jessica is competent in treating depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. She also enjoys helping clients with self-esteem, stress management, and boundary setting.
Jessica received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University in 2022 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She works out of the Springfield office and sees clients from the ages of 8-65. Some of her favorite referrals are young adults, depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem issues, and emotional regulation. Jessica is supervised by Emily Neely, LPCC-S.
