Sister, aunt, social worker, outdoor enthusiast, music fanatic, disability advocate and dog devotee.
Danielle is a sister to three siblings and a doting aunt to ten nieces and nephews. When she is not cheering on a niece or nephew at a sporting or musical event, you’ll often find her lost in a good book, snuggling a dog, challenging herself with different puzzles, connecting with nature, and attending concerts. In her career, Danielle enjoys working with children and adults. She has experience working with difficulties such as grief, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, conduct disorders, self-harm/suicidal ideation, parenting concerns, and more. Danielle is passionate about empowering clients to take positive actions and address their mental health concerns, fostering a sense of authenticity and growth.
Danielle focuses on identifying and regulating emotions with young children. As clients age, she embraces mindfulness-based interventions to promote self-awareness, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.
Colleagues and clients find Danielle to be genuine, approachable, and compassionate. She loves to make people laugh! Clients especially value her ability to use humor to navigate life obstacles. She believes in everyone’s potential to grow, heal, and flourish.
Danielle became a licensed social worker in 2021 and obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Ohio State University OH-IO in 2023. She is supervised by Jordan Thurman, LISW-S, PMH-C, and works out of the Springfield office. Danielle typically sees clients from 5 to 12 and 18 to 65.
