Cheryl B. Levine

Wife, mother, psychologist, musician, animal-lover, dollhouse miniaturist and sun enthusiast.

Married for over 30 years with two sons, Cheryl is a transplant from New Jersey and has never gotten the beach out of her system. She has worn many hats over the course of her career; she has trained Resident physicians in psychosocial skills and co-precepted their patient care, she has been an Associate Professor for Antioch University McGreggor and for the Ohio State University, consulted with businesses and performed trainings for other professionals. However, her primary passion is in helping people heal from trauma as an EMDR therapist. “I am so moved by the courage of my clients. I am amazed at our capacity for healing and am profoundly honored to assist in a process that is both so deeply painful and so joyful in recovery.”

In life, as in the office, she is a straight-shooter, a direct communicator and strongly insightful and empathic. You know where you stand with her in treatment—and she stands with you at the times you need her the most. Her clients often return for new areas of work across their lifespan. She is both a spiritual and creative person who enjoys bringing these aspects into treatment.

In addition to her expertise in trauma, PTSD and EMDR, Cheryl works with adults in other problems in living; depression, anxiety (she has training in ERP-exposure and response prevention), women’s issues, life transitions, boundaries, communication and relationship difficulties.

Cheryl is a clinical psychologist with 30 years of experience. She graduated from Wright State University, School of Professional Psychology with a Psy.D. degree in 1993. She works out of both the Springfield and Fairborn offices. Cheryl typically sees clients age 21 years old and up. Some of her favorite referrals include Trauma/EMDR, First Responders/Police Officers/Firefighters, Divorce, Anxiety, Women’s Issues, Boundaries, Relationship Problems, LGBTQIA+
