Bailey McRitchie

Wife, Friend, Counselor, Cat Enthusiast, Avid Reader, and Lover of Baking and Sunshine

Bailey approaches counseling with emphasis on client empowerment, collaboration, and the use of intentional interventions that align with an individual’s goals. For those feeling overwhelmed, lonely, or stuck, she wants to walk alongside you, at your pace, and discover what being “unstuck” can look like for you. Authenticity and trust are major components of the counseling process and she wants each client to feel seen and heard. Bailey recognizes that the counseling process can be scary and uncomfortable, and strives to create a safe and welcoming space for all.

Bailey emphasizes the importance of the ‘whole person’ – mind, body, and spirit – and its impact on one’s overall wellbeing. With this comes a gentle nudge toward self-compassion. Bailey has yet to work with a client who couldn’t benefit from more self-compassion and greatly enjoys working through this area of wellness.

When working with a child/teen and their family, she advocates for the child while supporting the caregiver in the process. When working through relationship difficulties, Bailey aims to provide each participant with the opportunity and tools to effectively communicate and heal together. She believes that for everyone involved, participation in counseling takes strength and vulnerability. Every voice is valued.

Bailey graduated from Capital University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, supervised by Emily Neely, LPCC-S. She works out of both the Fairborn and Springfield offices. Some of her favorite referrals are adolescents and young adults seeking help with body image concerns, depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief, and relationship difficulties.
