Reader, crafter, counselor and marriage and family therapist, connoisseur of iced coffee, donuts, and grilled cheese.
Eileen is married with two little ones and has two “obnoxious but lovable” dogs. She will deny it, but she has so much energy and motivation toward her development as a clinician! Around the office she’s a team player, seeking collaboration with colleagues which only enhances her excellence as a therapist. She goes that extra mile so that her clients are connected with the right services at the right time to assure they have the best quality care. In addition, Eileen strongly believes her clients are the experts of their own lives, and aims to empower them to be the agent of change in their own treatment. Her dry sense of humor is a delightful breath of fresh air in her work. She strives for a partnership with clients and encourages them to be stronger in their own medical and mental health advocacy. Eileen is well-versed in systems theory, and she has sought extra training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as trauma-informed therapy interventions. She is passionate about helping clients recognize the ebb and flow of patterns in their own lives, so that as they move into health, they become more expert in their own mental health challenges and strengths.
